PONYVILLE/BREEDING

The star attraction of our farm and center of our breeding program is our 12.2-hand chunk of pony -- Lord Baltimore. Little B is a registered Pony of America but was a champion on-the-line in pony breeding classes as a hunter and crossbred pony. He was bred by the prominent Maryland pony farm, Addition to Conclusion Farm in Forest Hills.

His sire, Dual Plaudit, was undefeated as a two-year-old in POA competition and his dam, Barkeepers Barbee Doll, led the nation in conformation in 1995. She set a sales record at the POA International Sale and she was only a few points away from her Supreme designation when she retired from showing.

Lord Baltimore was the 1996 Maryland Pony Breeders champion crossbred weanling and reserve junior champion. The same year he was Maryland POAC ID weanling futurity champion. The next year he was the reserve high point yearling hunter breeding colt and finished third that same year in the Maryland Horse Show Association's hunter pony futurity. A full sister was a year-end award winner on the A circuit in Florida.

He is a beautiful black bay, with a smooth fluid stride owing to his thoroughbred outcrossing. He produces gorgeous babies with precious heads and adorable personalities. Our homebreds are bred out of our own mares developed in our breeding program of crossing the best bloodlines of Appaloosas and quarter horses with thorougbreds. These mares were sired by our retired Appaloosa stallion, Oh-So-Impressive (no AQHA Impressive blood), our reference sire.

The breeding fee for Lord Baltimore is $300. Shipped semen is available and the breeding fee includes the first collection.
